Careers

We believe in preparing our students for adulthood and ensuring they leave us with the skills they need to be successful in their next steps and our careers programme ensures that we work towards and meet the Gatsby Benchmarks for Good Careers Guidance, ensuring that students can excel in their futures.

Our most recent Compass+ self-assessment results are published below.

The Warwickshire Academy aim:

“Curriculum is the total learned experience of the child: formal, informal, within the classroom and beyond”

Careers aim:

“At The Warwickshire Academy, we aim to enhance the employability skills of all learners to prepare them for life beyond the classroom”

The Careers Lead will ensure that the students are made aware of all the different pathways that are available to them.

Examples include:

  • Sixth Form at The Warwickshire Academy
  • Apprenticeships
  • A-Level Courses
  • T-Level courses
  • Higher education
  • Parents/Carers will also be made aware of this and the Careers Lead will offer vital training at a Parent’s/Carers’ Information Events.
