Employers
Partner With Us to Inspire Pathways for Adulthood
At The Warwickshire Academy, part of Thrive Education Partnership, we are committed to preparing our students for meaningful and fulfilling lives beyond education. A key part of this journey is developing strong partnerships with employers who can help bring learning to life and broaden students’ awareness of the world of work.
Employer engagement plays a vital role in our careers provision, supporting students to build confidence, independence, and essential life skills. We value opportunities that allow our young people to experience different environments, roles, and expectations in a way that is inclusive, supportive, and aspirational.
We welcome employers to work in partnership with us in a range of ways, including:
- Work-based experiences, such as supported work placements, work shadowing, and workplace visits
- Employer encounters, including career talks and interactive sessions, as well as initiatives such as our Sensory World of Work
- Enterprise and project-based learning, giving students the opportunity to engage in practical, real-world challenges and teamwork
Your support plays an important role in helping our students understand their future options and develop the skills needed for greater independence and employability.
If you are interested in partnering with us or would like to find out more, please contact our Careers Lead, Nathan Howard, on 02477 102100 or email n.howard@wa.thrive.ac.
Together, we can support our young people to thrive as they move towards adulthood.
